Cleft-Leg Table, Bruno Mathsson, Dux, Sweden, c. 1948

A fine example of Bruno Mathsson’s “cleft-leg” table in the square.

Designed in 1948, this model was produced by Dux in the 1970s.

Masur birch veneer on the table top, has a few minor scratches but they get hidden in the grain (once thought to have been beetle burrows in the wood!)
